About Founder & President
Rev. Dr. Charles Shaheen is the founder and the president of Shalom Channel a Christian TV channel aimed to reach people with the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.
He is also the founder and the CEO (chief executive officer) of the Global Mission Ministry Inc.
Presently, Rev. Shaheen serves God as the associate and mission Pastor at the Pentecostal church of Iisalmi, Finland.
He has traveled over forty nations of the world where he has conducted gospel crusades and Pastors/leaders seminars and conferences. He has taught at the FGA Bible College (FGA Theological Seminary) in Lahore, Pakistan and Iso Kirja (Finnish Bible college). He is the director of the Global Mission Bible Institute (GMBI) an online teaching program that is teaching and training Christian ministers every week in many nations of the world.
He has been a keynote speaker in many Christian conferences such as Mid-summer conference in Finland where over 30,000 people attend the conference during five-days event.
He has authored books such as “Serving God by Leading People”; “Ordinary people doing extraordinary things”; “Reformation needed then and now”. He is also the co-author of the book called “Vanhat kaivot: Suomen hengellinen perintö”: The Spiritual heritage of Finland with his wife Paula Shaheen.
Rev. Shaheen with his wife Paula Shaheen has a bilingual (English and Finnish) TV Program “Sinua Varten” that is aired on TV7 heaven regularly and a weekly bilingual Radio broadcast “Sinua Varten” aired from Radio Sandals in Finland. The TV program “Living with Love” is aired from the Gospel channel, Iceland. His TV broadcasts have been aired with Urdu translation on numerous Christian TV channels such as Kanal Asia (Sweden), Barket TV, Praise TV, JC TV (TBN Urdu), Gwahi TV in Pakistan.

SHALOM IS A HEBREW WORD MEANING PEACE, HARMONY, WHOLENESS, COMPLETENESS, PROSPERITY, WELFARE, AND TRANQUILITY.
SHALOM TV IS THE BROADCAST OF THE GLOBAL MISSION MINISTRY THAT IS COMMITTED TO BRING THE MESSAGE OF PEACE, LOVE, AND HOPE TO THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD.
EVERY PERSON LIVING ON THIS EARTH NEEDS PEACE IN THREE AREAS OF LIFE WHICH ARE:
1. PEACE WITH GOD: THE BIBLE TEACHES US THAT WE HAVE PEACE WITH GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. “THEREFORE, HAVING BEEN JUSTIFIED BY FAITH, WE HAVE PEACE WITH GOD THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST,” (ROMANS 5:1).
2. PEACE WITH OTHER:THE BIBLE ENCOURAGES PEOPLE TO LIVE PEACEABLY WITH OTHER. THE BIBLE SAYS, “IF IT IS POSSIBLE, AS FAR AS IT DEPENDS ON YOU, LIVE AT PEACE WITH EVERYONE” (ROMANS 12:18). THE BIBLE ADMONISHES THAT “DO NOT REPAY EVIL WITH EVIL OR INSULT WITH INSULT. ON THE CONTRARY, REPAY EVIL WITH BLESSING, BECAUSE TO THIS YOU WERE CALLED SO THAT YOU MAY INHERIT A BLESSING. FOR, “WHOEVER WOULD LOVE LIFE AND SEE GOOD DAYS MUST KEEP THEIR TONGUE FROM EVIL AND THEIR LIPS FROM DECEITFUL SPEECH. THEY MUST TURN FROM EVIL AND DO GOOD; THEY MUST SEEK PEACE AND PURSUE IT.” (1 PETER 3: 9-11).
3. PEACE WITHIN: THERE IS A GREAT NEED OF INNER PEACE. THE ROOT-CAUSE OF EVERY CONFLICT IS A LACK OF INNER PEACE. THE BIBLE SAYS, “GREAT PEACE HAVE THOSE WHO LOVE YOUR LAW, AND NOTHING SHALL OFFEND THEM” (PSALM 119:165). “THE LORD WILL GIVE STRENGTH TO HIS PEOPLE; THE LORD WILL BLESS HIS PEOPLE WITH PEACE” (PSALM 29:11).
RECIPE OF PEACE IS FOUND IN PHILIPPIANS 4:8 THAT SAYS,
“BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING, BUT IN EVERYTHING
BY PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION, WITH THANKSGIVING, LET YOUR REQUESTS BE MADE KNOWN TO GOD; AND
THE PEACE OF GOD, WHICH SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING, WILL GUARD YOUR HEARTS AND MINDS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS.
FINALLY, BRETHREN,
WHATEVER THINGS ARE TRUE,
WHATEVER THINGS ARE NOBLE,
WHATEVER THINGS ARE JUST,
WHATEVER THINGS ARE PURE,
WHATEVER THINGS ARE LOVELY,
WHATEVER THINGS ARE OF GOOD REPORT,
IF THERE IS ANY VIRTUE AND IF THERE IS ANYTHING PRAISEWORTHY—
MEDITATE ON THESE THINGS.
MISSION STATEMENT
Shalom TV is committed to reach out to people with the love of Jesus Christ through the Christocentric, inspiring, and anointed teaching and preaching of God’s unchanging Word that would change lives and bring them into a personal relationship with God and that with this, they would have abundant life what Jesus has promised. Jesus said, “the thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).
Shalom TV is also committed in producing and providing the programs that would minister to the spiritual needs of our viewers, renewing their hearts, feeding their soul, and refreshing their lives for a deeper walk with God.
